About Me & Harmony Home Organizer

      Hello, my name is Danielle Castro. I was born and raised in Brazil among a very neat family. Over there I got a Marine Biology Bachelor Degree. In 2013 I came to the US through an Au Pair exchange program to study English and to work for two militaries household. I lived with them for 5 years, I took care not only of their kids but also of the kids’ belongings, including doing their laundry and keeping their space and toys tidy. I believe the way I was raised influences my work because I truly enjoy keeping everything in its place. So did the family that I have worked for.

    It was on my last Nanny job, while I was cleaning up the kid's toys, it became clear to me that home organizing was my true passion. So I enrolled myself in a 12 week Organizing Business Training to learn how to make my passion into a job. Also I have been studying Feng Shui. It resonates with me since it's an art and a medicine that teaches the individual to have a heathy relationship with the space. And it's been a fulfilling journey for my soul so far.

​     I’m a naturally caring person. To be that person who helps to turn people’s home or office back into a place where they can relax or work more efficiently is very rewarding to me. I am also very understanding and do not pass any judgment based on the condition of your unorganized areas. That's why I am here to help you.

Harmony Home Organizer exists creating systems to facilitate organization, helping you to live in harmony at your space and on this planet.

In 2020 I’ve decided to open Harmony Home Organizer. A big call from my heart to follow something that it’s part of my essence - being organized and conscious about our environment. The moment I decided to open Harmony Home I felt so empowered and excited because I knew I would be doing something that is really my expertise.

One of Harmony Home's value: we practice the sustainable way of living!  On our projects we work with what you already have. Shopping only when necessary.

​I am a believer of the power of energy, what goes around comes around so I always give my best on everything I do. I do it with love. That's the energy I work to spread around. How do I do this? First I make sure to follow my heart / my intuition on the decisions I take. I also balance work with other activities. I love practicing yoga, surfing and spending time with friends and my lovely husband. I make time to recharge myself in Nature and at home. My home is a place where I feel grounded and nurture. I will be so pleased to help you to get rid of that stuck energy and to create a harmonious home you deserve.
